Current opportunities:

Horticulture apprentice/1st year

We are currently seeking a 1st year Horticulture apprentice for work around the Byron Shire. No previous experience is required - we are looking for candidates who are eager to commence and complete a Horticulture apprenticeship, including regular TAFE studies.

Your duties will be:

• Pruning

• Pest identification

• General maintenance

• Mulching, weeding, hedging

• Physical work and occasional heavy lifting, with correct lifting training provided

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Year 10 Certificate

• Own car and licence

• Physically fitness & self motivation

• Reliability & punctuality

• A love of plants!

Construction apprentice/1st year

We are currently seeking a 1st year Construction apprentice for work around the Byron Shire. No previous experience is required - we are looking for candidates who are eager to commence and complete a construction apprenticeship, including regular TAFE studies.

Your duties will be:

• General maintenance

• Mulching, weeding, hedging

• Paving, retaining walls

• Turf preparation

• Drainage installation

• Physical work and occasional heavy lifting, with correct lifting training provided

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Year 10 Certificate

• Own car and licence

• Physically fitness & self motivation

• Reliability & punctuality

• A love of plants!
